Zenji Nio has lectured on Buddhism at various events at the University of Toronto and was the keynote speaker for the Proclamation of Veask organized by the University of Toronto at Queen's Park. Zenji Nio also represented Canada at the NAIN Conference at the University of Toronto and has lectured on Buddhism for events held by the IDI and attended by the Acting Prime Minister of Canada.

Zenji Nio was awarded the Eminent International Thinker Award by Nagpur University where he lectured on Buddhism and he also received rare reviews for lecturing on Buddhism at the National Museum alongside many distinguished professors from Oxford and Berkley to Taiwan and George Washington.
